
A Presepe with a very Modican feel. The grottas of Modica were filled with olive oil presses, animals and the house on the right is a Modica chocolate factory. The beans arrive at the dammuso on the ground floor, the man on the first floor rolls the cocoa into a butter from which the chocolate is made. Once put in the forms, the woman on the 2nd floor bangs the trays to get the air bubbles out.
